Pediatric Associates LLC has introduced a new initiative.
Through this initiative we provide your family with enhanced screening of child behavior and development. The goal of our new screening program is to identify concerns early so that we can offer timely assistance when appropriate. Because our practice has a longstanding history of providing care for the "whole child/adolescent," we have been awarded a grant from The Child Health and Development Institute of CT to assist in our implementation of this enhanced screening initiative.
At your well child/adolescent visit, you will likely be asked to fill out a questionnaire regarding the behavior and development of your child. You will then hand the completed questionnaire to the nurse when you are brought into the examination room. The screening tool will then be scored and given to the physician. When your doctor comes into the room, he/she will discuss the results with you.
