Carolyn A. Clark, M.D., F.A.A.P. is a summa cum laude graduate of Rhode Island College where she double majored in biology and secondary education, and minored in chemistry. She was formerly a teacher of high school biology and physical science at LaSalle Academy in Providence, RI and performed medical research at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Boston, MA. She received her medical degree in 1994 from the Duke University School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency in 1997 at the Children's Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati. Dr. Clark joined Pediatric Associates in 1997 and is currently the Physician Manager. She is board certified in pediatrics. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut State chapters of the AAP, as well as a member of the American Medical Association. Her special interests include caring for pediatric patients through the physical and social changes of development. Dr. Clark also teaches other doctors. She is a Clinical Instructor in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Connecticut. She is privileged to have a resident physician from Connecticut Children's Medical Center working with her in the office.

Ranjit S. Pandit, M.D., F.A.A.P. received his medical degree from Grant Medical College in Bombay, India in 1970 and completed his pediatric residency at the College of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey in 1977. He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Hematology and Oncology at Buffalo Children's Hospital and was a clinical instructor teaching pediatric residents. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut State chapters of the AAP, as well as a member of the American Medical Association. Dr. Pandit is board certified in pediatrics and has been practicing in Bristol since 1985. His special interests include children and adolescents with blood disorders and cancer.

Julie E. Schiff, M.D., F.A.A.P., is a magna cum laude graduate of Cornell University where she majored in biology. She received her medical degree in 2002 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency in 2005 at the Children's Hospital of Boston. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut State chapters of the AAP. Dr. Schiff joined Pediatric Associates in 2005 and is board certified in pediatrics. Her special interests include adolescent medicine and gynecology. Dr. Schiff also enjoys being a mother to her two young children.

Ruth A. Loomis, M.D., F.A.A.P. graduated from McGill University with honors where she majored in human physiology. She received her medical degree in 2001 from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency in 2004 at the Connecticut Children's Medical Center. She then was chief resident of Connecticut Children's Medical Center in 2004-2005. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a member of the Hartford County and Connecticut State chapters of the AAP. Dr. Loomis joined Pediatric Associates in 2005 and is board certified in pediatrics. Her special interests include neonatology, lactation support and adolescent medicine. Dr. Loomis also enjoys being a mother to her three young children.

Bryan R. Holland, M.D., F.A.A.P. graduated from Columbia University where he majored in biology. He received his medical degree in 1998 from St. George’s University and completed his pediatric residency at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt, Columbia University in 2001. He was in private practice in upstate New York, and served as a clinical associate professor at Upstate Medical University. He has lectured medical students on genetics, and has been an author of pediatric board questions. Since 2005 he has worked at Bristol Hospital’s inpatient and nursery units. He is board certified in pediatrics. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, and a member of the American Medical Association. His special interests include asthma and genetics. Dr. Holland also enjoys being a daddy.
